Protege on the 26th of April
Now I shall blog about Protege. Haha! Overall, Protege was awesome! It was an superb platform to showcase new local hip-hop talents. For that, I would like to give it two thumbs up baybehh! Well, eventhough the crowd was abit sucky when it comes to making noise & stuffs, we're still loving the hip-hop scene mayne & nothing can stop us from loving it. From what Fazli said that there were some haters saying that the hip-hop scene is Singapura can't grow, I felt really agitated. How could they say something like that? At least, they're doing their part to keep the love for hip-hop here in Singapore still living. No matter what people say, I would still be there to root for all the amazing emcees, singers, duos or whatever else is in this local hip-hop has.
My deepest congratulations to all the duos/soloists who made it to the finals! To the 3 teams who didn't make it through, you did your best though!
Sleeq performed Hot Tonight, Soulja Girl & the last song, I'm not sure. Rauzan performed On Top of The World feat. Young & Pendekar, Always Be Loved & the second song, I'm not sure. So so so sorry. Didn't play close attention to the title of the songs.
The funniest thing that cracked my funny bone was when Fazli aka Freaky Z shouted; "If I say Public, you say Transport!". Lol. Funny siolxzxzxz. I know its kinda lame, but I don't know. All the smallest, littlest things Freaky Z does makes me giggle. Hahaha! Maybe he's my mysterious laughing gas...? Hahaha. Shuddup Sya.
I bought the ticket from Syarif and I took a long time finding him. It turns out that he was downstairs, chatting with Alyph & Richard. Just felt like kicking his _________. That was too censored. Ooopsie!
After the gig officially ended, went down to meet Alyph, Syarif & other awesome people! Alyph trimmed his hair and I think he looks much neater (?) in this one. Everytime we ask why his hair's shorter, he'll reply with sound effects like 'Bsshhhh', 'Ahhhhh!' and 'Psssshhhh'. Hahaha. Adorable uh that lad!
Syarif was a lil bit upset because his picture was in BH last Monday. Not only that, the topic was on early marriage. I only wanted to let him see the article but he took it & kept in his pocket. Pfft.
Don't ask me whether we camwhored! Of course we did, youmotherfuckas. Haha!
