My 3D2N Stay at Batu Pahat

Hello readers. I'm back! Haha. I miss Singapore, I miss my computer, I miss my home but most importantly, I miss my girlfriends, especially Eiiqa & Nana. Haven't been hearing from them lately. Wonder what's up. Hmm..

4 days of not checking my blog, and yet another hate tag. Thanks to everybody who stood up for me, thanks so much. Especially Mimi, I think you took care of my tagboard really well when I was away, eventhough I didn't ask you too. Haha, Ilygsm.

Woke up at 7am and took a bath. Quickly got ready & did last-minute checks whether all the things we need were all packed. Rushed to Papa's car and off we went to the Tuas Checkpoint. We wanted to rush cause' we were afraid that the checkpoint might be experiencing some traffic jam but no, it was the other way round. We were still stuck at the checkpoint. Killed some time by texting girlfriends about my departure (chey!). Felt so sleepy, and shortly after I dozed off. When I woke up, we were already at the counter where our passports get stamped. Further infront, there was a spot-check. Adults were required to get out of the car as the immigration officers needed their thumbrpints. I didn't have to get out as I wasn't an adult, duh. Haha! After that, I continued my nap & before we know it, we already reached Machap Resting Place, the location to meet my Auntie Yati & Uncle Kassim.

Went to the toilet to make a 'pit stop' & had breakfast at the eatery. Last year, the eatery wasn't enclosed but now it is. I thought there won't be any more flies since it's an enclosed area, but I was wrong! The flies were so buggy till I didn't get to finish my Chicken Rice. Pfft, job well done flies.

Was still sleepy, so on the way to Batu Pahat, I slept too. Woke up & the car was already at Sungai Nibong, the village we're gonna spend 3 days & 2 nights in. Not only that, we were already infront of my Nenek Ru's beautiful house.

I miss my Nenek Ru so bad, that I ran to her & gave her a tight hug. I love going to her house, it's so calming.

Around 5pm in the evening, all of us took a shower & headed off to Nenek Endon's house, the place where we're gonna spend the night at. Nenek Endon's place has always been so serene, but it's also eerie. There's a surau infront of the house, and there's a jungle at the back. Who knows you might bump into a wild boar (babi hutan) and then it stumbles on you? Haha, good luck man. The jungle had been cleared off, and my Nenek Endon's house was placed at the back. Alhamdullilah, the place is great. The serene surroundings never fail to make me appreciate nature more. It's good to be back in a village, when we're so caught up in the busy life in Singapore. The afternoon & evening was so heaty, but at night, my god, it was so windy and the weather was so cool to sleep in. Couldn't believe I turned in early that night.

Woke up at 8am and took a bath straight away. Waited for everyone to get ready and off we went to Parit Sulong with Nenek Endon & Tok Sam to take a look at the Saturday market. At first, I found it kinda boring as it was all food but I enjoyed it in the end. Mama bought me 2 kain songket (orange & blue), not stitched yet. It was beautiful, indeed.

Went back to Nenek Endon's place and lazed around till 4pm in the afternoon. Waited for everyone to shower and off we went to Nenek Ru's house cause' her family was gonna bring us to the Kolam Air Panas at Sungai Gerisek. I never heard of that place before, I swear.

Since Nenek Ru's daughter just came back from the chicken shop, we went off first. When I reached the place, I was super jakon. The water where we were suppose to soak our legs were scorching hot, but shortly after, it gets cooler. Awesome man.

After all the soaking of legs into the hot water, off we went to Sarang Buaya to have dinner. Nenek Ru's husband, Tok Misnon, treated us to seafood. It was delicious, finger-licking good! Haha. Thanks so much for the treat.

After all stomachs were filled up, went back to Nenek Endon's place and yet spent another night there again. This time, I slept slightly late cause' I was tossing & turning. Why? Cause I miss my girlfriends so much. Hmph.

Woke up at 8am yet again today. Immediately took a shower right after I woke up. Got ready and then went over to Nenek Ru's place to inform her that we're leaving for Singapore. Spent a few minutes chit-chatting with Nenek Ru and her children. Not long after, we went over to Tok Misnon's shop. He sells chicken and he's also the leader of the village, so yeah, can't blame him for being too busy. Chit-chatted with Tok Misnon for awhile and we continued on our journey back to Singapore.

It was a quite a long trip so I felt asleep. Papa brought us to Kip Mart to shop. What I'm gonna tell you is that I just bought a white cardigan which costs RM 19. *smiles*
